Meeting 2 for Project ANEMELO was held in Nicosia

Meeting 2 of the ANEMELO project was held on the 8th of May 2018 in Nicosia, Cyprus. It was hosted by The University of Nicosia by Dr Panayiotis Angelides.

Today we discussed our progress so far. Starting with the first draft of the Project Handbook, detailing all of our research, as well of the Topics we will base our Augmented reality game on. As our target audience is children aged 11 - 16 we will divide the game into 2 Levels to accommodate the age differences. Both levels will include the same thematic clusters:

  • Marketing;
  • Immersion;
  • Personalisation;
  • Food and drinks a reward;
  • Social media as a reward;
  • Changing the metabolic system.

The game will be structured with the Children playing the role of the Marketer and through this concept, they will identify the different ways that Marketing companies convince their customers (the children) to buy and eat unhealthy foods. Our Augmented reality approach is interactive and fun and we are sure it will be a success.

We feel that the meeting was very productive and a special thank you to Ezzev for leading us in this concept of the game and their detailed research.
